Is the lake stocked with fish?

Yes, Chestermere Lake has a variety of fish, the most popular being the northern pike and yellow perch. White sucker, burbot, rainbow trout, lake whitefish and walleye have also been caught on the lake in previous years.

Are motorized boats allowed on chestermere lake? Is there a boat launch?

Motorized and non-motorized boating is allowed on Chestermere Lake, with one boat launch located at 100 John Morris Way.
Motorized boat launch fees are based on residency. Please check the City of Chestermere website for updated information on seasonal boat launch hours and for more information.
